…but there have indeed been lots of enjoyable and some productive things happening. For now, two pieces of writing that I want to archive through the blog are these:
Women’s Web gave me space to share tips on Online Networking for the Self-employed. I like the way Aparna Singh used her gentle but persuasive follow-up skills to get me to contribute this feature. I also like the way Women’s Web is shaping up and consistently bringing out useful content. I look forward to doing more work with them.
Then, People Matters provided an opportunity to interview consultants from Korn/Ferry International at a CEO summit organized by the firm. It was wonderful to quiz an eloquent Indranil Roy and gratifying to know that India was positioned well to see a phenomenal upswing in businesses moving here, as it was to hear the industrialist Gautam Thapar relate his experiences with identifying and retaining talent for his businesses. I had no idea how my submissions of interview transcripts and an overview article were going to be used—later, the link showed them linearly placed…
